"Very poor quality recording at 6 hours and even worse at 8 hours. Picky on brands of disk used."
Pros: None that i am aware of

"Easy to use, lots of options, it is a great product."
Pros: Super easy to figure out how to use, and to set up. I like being able to choose the DVD types (DVD, DVD-RW, ets.) to record to and play. Lots of options.
Cons: Seems to be a little pickey about brands of DVDs. Requires a seperate controller to control set top box for cable.

Pros: For the price you cant beat it to up-grade into recording dvd , I would like to add you get what you pay for these days specialy with a multitude of brands out on the market ..
