Summary: Do yourself a favor dont buy this LG product from anyone even with a warranty, I bought mine at Best Buy did't last a month before prblems then within another 2 months more problems ( it always took 3-5 min to turn on). Drive is dead now no read at ... read more >>

"Very easy to use DVD recorder, but needed repair after 4 months"
Pros: Easy to Use Remote and Menus / HD reception / DVD Ram
Cons: needed repair after 4 months / poor customer service
Summary: Very easy to use DVD recorder.
Remote and menus really makes dvd recording a snap!
The HD receiver is able to pickup channels other people in my condo units are watching! on channels 101-104. Very odd!
DVD Ram / USB port comes in handy.

"Not what I expected. Mis-handles un-finished DVDs."
Pros: Copies VHS to DVD and vice versa.
Cons: Does not have Automatic Clock. Slow to start, Crashes DVDs
Summary: I seriously wish you could road test these machines in the store, I never would have bought this unit.

"This is a very good recorder."
Pros: You can set channel separately, (You can) but do not have to scan channels.
Cons: To this date I have found none.
