Pros: worked for a while
Cons: My GoVideo player stopped playing DVDs; company suggested buying a refurbished replacement for $69.99!!

Pros: It will play DVDs and tape TV shows. The tuner part of the unit seems OK but nothing spectacular.
Cons: Overpriced for what you get, but it's better than the DVR5000 which was the most absolutely worthless electronic toy that I've ever had any experience with. It slowly just stopped playing any DVD discs and the company was absolutely useless in getting a r

"Great idea that just doesn't work."
Pros: What a great way to be able to back up old VHS tapes to DVD - too bad that this solution simply doesn't work. Tech service was less helpful. They simply suggested returning it as a defective unit and getting a new one - which I did, and it did the same
Cons: I bought and tried to record dozens of DVD's and even the discs that were recorded on this machine wouldn't play on it! Stay away from this cool looking gizmo unless you have the luck of the Irish and happen to get a good one!
