    Pros: -lightweight
    -decent size for reading
    -"special offers" do not intrude with reading
    -easy to read screen
    -long battery life

    Cons: does not come with a even a basic cover(amazon cover $40 more)

    Summary: I got this kindle as a Christmas present. I haven't read much in recent years but now I've already read several books with several more to go. I can read for several hours without suffering from eye strain.

    The lack of a keyboard is not a problem for me since I can just order the books off amazon.com and download them later to the kindle. It would have been nice to get a basic cover with it, but that's just a small problem. The special offers only show up when you put the kindle to sleep or on a small banner ad at the bottom of the menu screen.

    All in all, it is a very good deal for $79.
