"Easy on the eyes, easy to use, pdf support works well"
Pros: I really like the e-ink screen and the lack of a backlight in my eyes. Every serious reader needs one of these. Most pdf's display well with the screen turned on its side.
Cons: Expensive, really needs a way to organize books into folders, should include the nice but overpriced book cover that's a must if you intend to take your Kindle anywhere.
Summary: Ignoring cost: buy one. It is so much nicer than reading eBooks on a laptop. Anyone who says that the internal memory is inadequate for books simply can't do math. Sprint's 3G wireless network transfers books in seconds. My computers see the Kindle as a USB flash drive and pdf's and mobi's drag and drop effortlessly under Windows and Linux. The simple, standard USB charger is a greatly appreciated touch.
