"The Kindle Touch is possibly the best current E-reader" on by jaredbelcher
Pros: Feels good in hand, loaded with features lacking on competing devices, X-Ray is very useful, touch works well, 2 month battery life, MP3 and audiobook playback, fantastic book store integration, dead simple user interface, library lending
Cons: The lack of physical buttons, lack of an included A/C wall charger, a fairly boring design.
Summary: I've owned the Nook, both generation iPads, and the last two Kindles. If you're in the market for an E-Reader, there has never been a better device than the Kindle Touch. The Kindle Touch has all the features missing from the Kindle 4 and an excellent touch user-interface for easily navigating books and menus. Though there are a few preference issues, such as no physical page turn buttons, the pros far outweigh the cons. A great and highly recommended Christmas gift.
