Pros: August firmware + hacks improve performance. Can open >30mb pdf files pg turn 1-2s (b/w) or 2-4s (color) , access to 32G SD card mount in 1-2min, screen response to single touch >90% of the time. Full access to android mkt.

Cons: on heavy side, would have loved it to have the 3G connection and flash capability.

Summary: Not ready to be used out of box to fully utilize device...need to spend at least half a day reading slatedroid websites to know which hacks you need. Hacks can be completed about half an hour.

With internal SD card replaced with 8G and external 32G, it is 40G on the Go ebook for me.

At less than $170 usd and with some determination, this is an adequate (to me) ebook reader + tablet (albeit without flash). No regrets......not sure i would upgrade to a tablet that has 3G/GPS/Wifi at 3 times the cost as a smartphone does these functions way better (ergonomically speaking). I would only use this to read books and the occasional videos.

If you can get it for <$150, GO FOR IT....
