"Solid and easy to use - robust, easy to get books."
Pros: Best - can buy books from multiple vendors. I buy DRM free books from Baen books, fictionwise.com and other sources. Cnet review is wrong about only one source. It is tough. I did kill one after well more than 60 drops. Impressed - bought another.
Cons: Would like more variability on font size. But it's not critical - I modify the font size on all DRM-free books in Word before downloading them to Sony Reader.

"Nothing like the printed page"
Pros: It is portable.
Cons: Battery life is poor, far below what is advertised. Contrast is terrible and there is no backlight. It is supposed to charge from USB but often drains into USB instead. Cannot search text. Cuts off tops of some pages. Often loses place.
