eMachines Repair and Customer Service is the Worst!
Pros: Cheap computer.
Cons: Absolute worst customer service. Faulty power supplies.
Computer began to experience power problems in late June. After dealing with technical assistance for over three weeks, I was instructed to send my computer tower to the repair depot in Dallas for warranty repair. Computer was shipped to eMachines on 8/1. Inquired on status of repairs on 8/17, and was told they had not received it. Called back on 8/19 and was able to show through FedEx tracking number that it was received by repair depot on 8/2, and they agreed to escalate the problem to a supervisor. Called again on 8/23 to follow up and was told by supervisor Hiram that supervisor Nathan had reviewed escalation, but there was no record of action. Hiram agreed to call or e-mail in 2-3 days with a status report. When not contacted by 8/31, called again and was told by agent that an unnamed supervisor needed another 2 days to investigate. Called again on 9/2 and was told by supervisor Jacob that there was no information from the repair depot, but he e-mailed me latter that day that they had found the computer, logged it in on 9/1, and would repair it promptly. Called on 9/13 and was informed by agent that supervisor Brian said it was to be shipped out to me on 9/14. When not received by 9/22, called again and supervisor Lance said that the records were still muddled and that it would have to be referred to a higher level headquarters supervisor who I must call on 9/23. When I spoke to corporate supervisor Don on 9/23, he informed me that my computer had been destroyed (lost or refurbished) by the repair depot and could not be returned to me. He promised to call me the afternoon of 9/26 with a proposed resolution, but failed to. He did call me on 9/27 and informed me that eMachines would only provide a refurbished version of my original model without my upgrades of an 80 GB hard drive and 128 MB video card, even though eMachines did not warn that computer could be destroyed in the repair process, since I no longer had receipts for those items. I was given no recourse, apology, or consideration for my lost equipment, data, and the considerable time and expense I spent attempting to address eMachines? error. The refurbished computer arrived on 9/30. I sent a certified letter to the VP for Customer Care on 9/28 outlining these problems and asking for more appropriate compensation for my damages. A Gateway Executive Response Specialist sent a reply on 10/8 denying my request.

After four months of using the T3092, I'm still happy with my purchase.
Pros: The eMachines T3092 includes everything the average computer user will need, without being overloaded with too many extras that take up valuable space and only confuse the typical user.
Cons: The speakers (included) aren't good for much. You'll probably want to replace them if you use your computer for listening to music.
Prior to the eMachines T3092, I used a mid-level Sony VAIO. The new eMachines T3092 is a much less expensive computer, yet I haven't found anything it won't do when compared with the Sony.
I still use the Sony, and it's a fine computer, but for the money, the T3092 is a better buy.
I'm completely happy with this computer, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good computer without too many confusing bells and whistles.

Didn't have 2nd stick of ram
Pros: I think if it had had all its ram it would be fine.
Cons: I didn't really notice my PC being slow until I downloaded a fully loaded Norton Anti-virus software. It started running slow so I looked up view systems and found I only had 192 mb of ram. This was about 7 months after purchase. I took the cover off a

Great Bang for Buck!
Pros: Plenty of Hard Drive and RAM. DVD burner is a plus. Very quiet machine. Came with a good amount of usable software. I liked the keyboard - good typing action an functionality. Intigrated sound able to accept multi-speaker system as is. No sound card nee
Cons: Poor speakers. If you care about sound at all, you'll want to buy new ones. Mouse is fine but is a basic wheel type. Buy optical - it's worth it.

Everything and more
Pros: Very well rounded system. Have yet to find something it wasn't up to par for, won't leave you out-dated in a couple of weeks. Plenty of storage combined with great features and speed makes this a hard deal to pass up
Cons: The only thing I wish it had is a way to capture video so I could record old VHS home movies to DVD for safe keeping. Other then that it has yet to let me down, would recomend to anyone.

Great machine for low price point
Pros: Pound-for-pound one of the best PC to buy. Memory, processor, Nvidia Graphics card. Also includes dual drives with one DVD-RW. The money that you save with the T3092 you can buy memory upgrades, etc. A comparable Dell would cost 900 dollars, at least.
Cons: From what I read, poor customer service. However, at this point in time, which PC vendors actually have good service? Dell used to be pretty good, but now there service has declined to the rest of the pack.

Months of Looking and I found the T3092
Pros: Low cost with a great feaure set. No problems with the machine - compared to my brother's Dell (bad mother board and hard drive) this is a great machine. This is THE Machine for anyone who wants a great machine for the right price. I am writing this revie
Cons: All upgrades are aftermarket. Can't get Office software installed at factory. You must purchase and install MS Office separately. Video card required for intense gaming or video dependent apps.

A Great Machine for the Budget Minded
Pros: Needed a machine to do home video editing and this one fit the bill with the large hard drive & AMD processor. Added another 512 ram and firewire card and still saved hundreds under other name brands that couldn't provide a DVD burner for the same pri
Cons: The mouse & speakers are cheap but expected from a budget unit. No software/hardware compatibility issues as of yet. Have only had it a month so time will tell.

Loaded Machine, Bargain Price!
Pros: Loaded out of the box with a huge 160MB hard drive, 512MB DDR RAM, and DVD +/-RW drive, plus very upgradeable with an extra HDD slot and AGP slot. You'll be hard pressed to find a comparable machine at this price level.
Cons: Wish it had firewire ports and faster RAM.

Post sale support
Pros: Great system for non-technical people who have no understanding nor a desire to reload the machine without all the pre-installed software.
Cons: Forget about finding post-sale support for this product. Go ahead and look at emachines.com. Not a single driver listed. Good luck trying to find them piecemeal from various vendors.

simply the best in the $ 7-1400 range
Pros: great speed graphics programs very easy to use ive had it for 3 months and not one problem. i thought the speakers and keyboard were very nice for being included but i bought a microsoft intellimouse 2.0 for ease of use.
Cons: maybe the could of put more usb ports or something usefull in the hideaway compartment up front other than than a mic jack. but i still have no complaints.

I can't imagine a better deal for the money.
Pros: Fast, cheap, expandable. Large hard disk, not too many dumb apps incl. Great video & sound for the money. Don't think about Intel graphics from other machines in this price range. GeForce4 MX is a solid performer. Great BIOS, too.
Cons: CD/DVD drive doors are flimsy. The blue light power button is rotting my brain!!!

Basically all that 90% of us really need...
Pros: Huge hard drive, DVD-RW, pretty fast processor, and of course, the great price
Cons: Not too many: Poor speakers, didn't come with SP2 for Windows XP (Best Buy will install it for you for an additional fee...save your money and download it yourself), limited software bundle (but, what do you expect at this price?)

A Computer That Fits The College Budget
Pros: I dropped a new video card into this computer, and I now have a computer more then capable of playing the hottest games on the market. The value of this machine can't be beat, and it fits in nicely on a College Kid's budget.
Cons: Geek factor. You will not earn geek points for telling your friends you are using an E-Machine.

excellent value and machine
Pros: I purchased at Best Buy in mid-August. No problems/issues at all, altho still waiting for my rebate info to pop up for tracing on emachines website(I find rebates quite annoying!). Much faster than my 6-year-old CTX, altho that is ancient in computer ter
Cons: No cons, I didnt expect much in the way of speakers as I already had a good 4.1 system from the CTX. Keyboard seems fine, altho cluttered, as I can't imagine using all those extra "internet" keys surrounding the usual "qwerty" keyboard. All in all, WELL
