"Lost data after 2 weeks"
Pros: Don't find any pros on this product
Cons: over heats, loses data
Summary: I lost 100gigs of data using this hard drive.
After 2 weeks of using the hard dirve it couldn't connect to my computer (Windows XP).
Called customer support and the only thing that they said is we would help you reformat your drive. They didn't care about my lost data.
I do not reccomend this product.

What kills me (and I also LIKE this Maxtor One Touch Drive, is that users blame the hard drive manufacturers for their data loss... It's like blaming the manufacturer of your tires for "excessive wear". Hard drives die. they die every day. sometimes they die soon after they're purchased, sometimes they die years later. The moral of this story? BACK YOUR DATA UP!!! don't rely on a hard drive to last for ever - because it wont.

The software initally worked at startup, but later attempts showed "updating status, 0 restore points available". I would not recommend this product.
