"Even with a laptop I needed this drive!"
Pros: Lightweight, easy to use, dependable
Cons: If the super carrying case came in other colors so I could find the Apricorn in my case I'd like it better.
Summary: I am a constant traveler with a laptop and didn't think I needed an additional drive. I bought this on spec after being given a flash drive in a crisis situation. I am never without the Apricorn. In many cases I can take the drive and not the laptop and plug into the equipment at my destination.
When I read a review that a drive failed I had a minor concern about buying one. But I have had this driver for over a year, it has been used on a daily basis and I am fortunate that it hasn't failed me yet.
I am toying with the idea of buying two more - one solely for my genealogy files and the other for all my photographs. Even the weight of three of these drives won't be too heavy.
