"DO NOT TUST THIS COMPANY!!!"
Pros: it was ok when I first got it, 250 GB size
Cons: stopped working! Sent it back and they've had it now for over 2 months!
Summary: What burns me the most was that I LOST ALL data I had on this drive!!!!!!!!! Servise was BAD!!!!!! product was ok for about a week and then nothing but trouble!!!!!! DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!!!!!Updated
I was so angry with this company for the lousy service I got when I purchased a 250GB NAS (network attached storage) drive. I did work great for a week or so but when I started to have problems with it I tried to get some assistance and when I finally got a person to talk to, she assured me they would fix it under warranty and return it with data intact or transfered to the new drive if required. I trusted her word and paid to ship it to them. It took well over 2 months and I was the one that always had to get ahold of them to find out the progress. Finally when all was said and done, I got this model, CAUE37300 External USB drive WITHOUT ANY OF MY DATA! ALL WAS LOST! I WAS LIVID, but what else could I do? I took it and tried to build back some of my lost data that I had stored on my home network of computers and made the best of it. This was not what I paid for though! I bought a network attached external drive so that any of my PCs or Macs could retrieve files with out having one specific computer always turned on for this USB drive to work. This drive does work great and does what it is suppose to do but just not what I wanted. VERY bad customer service!!!
