"GREAT price for 500gb but must be used in upright position"
Pros: totally silent, great price, no fuss uppon installation
Cons: base is part of unit, so it can only be used in vertical (standing) position. Uses mini-usb port for base, so you may not be able to use a longer cable that you already have.

"Beware - save your $$, frustration & your data."
Pros: Um... it's slick looking?
Cons: It rarely ever communicates with my computer. Keeps me up at night wondering if all of my photos will ever be retrieved.
