"Fast, lots of space, it sounds like a mini lawnmower."
Pros: The media drive works quickly. It's pretty reliable, I've never really had an issue with it causing problems, nor have I had trouble getting my laptop to recognize it.
Cons: The thing is LOUD. It's not just a humming, it's actually like a mini lawnmower. Unless you disconnect it from the power it keeps on making this ridiculous amount of noise, even if the USB isn't plugged or the computer isn't on.

Pros: It iseasy to use,just plug in a go. at 500 gb should do me for a bit. Price was reasonable, $ 139.00 cdn at Staples, was 189.00 I like the look of the unit
It is quiet, stay pretty cool, it ran for 2-1/2 hours for first back up.Cons: On off switch would be nice so I'm not unplugging unit.
I would like a hard copy of some instructions. Don't like that I have to plug the unit in to retrieve the info. But I guess that's where the think Green is going.Summary: Overall, happy with the unit. We'll see what... read more
