Summary: I bought a new one last week. After changing the raid mode and formatting the disk, exactly as it says in the manual , the disk started ejecting itself randomly and when I restarted my mac one of the 2 disks failed to mount several times. I have returned the disk to the store where they spent 4 days examining it and finally they diagnosed it as defective and they replaced it with a new one. The new disk is also defective !!!!
