  • "Excellent Drive"
    on by Alina Post

Pros good performance, great concept, Thunderbolt interface

    Cons nothing to complain about

Summary I've recently replaced my old drive with this unit, and wow! It's so much better! I first noticed the improvement in speed while copying my old archives across, what a difference! Massive data transfers and backing up project files is no longer a scary task, it's so much simpler. It works quietly, which is a nice bonus.

  • "Works Great and Fast"
    on by lSoalHt

Pros good performance; easy to use; solidly constructed

Cons a bit on the heavy side

Summary I'm learning game design, and I'm doing a lot of work with rendering characters. I needed a drive that could store heaps of data and could hold large project folders. This drive is great, it has a massive amount of space and it runs really fast. The Thunderbolt connection makes it display on my screen really nicely.

  • "Great quality and speed"
    on by GarrettRichey

Pros Time Machine compatible, Thunderbolt interface

    Cons 0 problems, works well

Summary This drive comes with two powerful HDDs that can be mirrored for data security. I've got it set up in a striped configuration, which gives me the balance between secure backup and capacity. Setup was very easy with the software the drive comes with , and it's also compatible with Time Machine. Overall, the product is good. It keeps my data safe, looks great and works fast - all that I wanted.

  • "Excellent Thunderbolt Drive"
    on by DominiqueHare

Pros very well designed, user friendly, good speed

    Cons slightly heavy

Summary Working a lot with on-site video editing I need the best when it comes to storage systems. Now I'm able to safely and securely store my projects on two of these drives. I have this 4TB -2big and a 2TB little big disk version that I often take with me. Thanks to the high transfer speeds I'm able to quickly copy the necessary files way faster than ever before. The 2TB drive is a bit heavy to carry around, but it's still the best solution for me.

  • "Incredible speeds"
    on by DavinBergeron

    Pros Easy RAID configuration, compact,fast

    Cons A bit expensive

Summary I love my new Thunderbolt drive. It has two 2TB 7200 rpm HDDs, and comes in the default RAID0 mode. The drive is super fast. A real advantage of this model for me is that it can be daisy chained with other Thunderbolt drives, which further increases transfer speeds. It is very convenient for processing HD videos. The drive is expensive, yes, but totally worth it in my opinion. It makes me more productive at work.
