Pros high capacity, sturdy and secure, great write & read speed

Cons annoying blue LED

Summary I do a lot of video editing in my work and must admit I was dubious when I was told that I would be able to stream multiple files from this one external device. I'll say it, I was wrong. This unit is more than able to keep up with the demands that I throw at it, now I'm really out of excuses for not getting my work done.

Pros simple to use, great transfer speed, plenty of disk space, great design

Cons a bit heavy

Summary 6TB is a huge amount of storage space. I was looking for a good drive, capacious and fast, that I could use for storing raw data and processed files at the same time. The 2big is everything I needed. It works smoothly and quickly, the 7200 HDDs are high quality and work great. It's not a portable unit, a bit on the heavy side, but then I don't really need to cart it around..

Summary I run a video editing studio, have been using LaCie drives for years - for backup and storage. Bought a couple of these drives for current projects, to make the most of Thunderbolt transfer speeds. Both units work as advertised - very fast. I'd recommend this product to anyone.

Summary I particularly like the dual ports on this unit, it can be plugged into compatible devices. Thunderbolt is very fast, but the dual channel makes it even better as the unit can read and write simultaneously. The casing is attractive and I particularly like the fact that it's made of aluminum.
