Pros: Stands vertically for better shelf space
Cons: Poor construction and horrible support.
Summary: After mechanical failure and complete data loss, LaCie effectively said "that's too bad." I'll never buy another LaCie product!!

Pros: Very small, absolutely quiet (no fan), no power adapter
Cons: Expensive, that's all
Summary: This is one great drive–other than the cost–it is essentially perfect. I got one of the very first ones, and it has run perfectly since. Combined with Super Duper, it is the perfect automatic back up solution, and since it is bootable, restoration is essentially instanteous.
