"Prone to failures, customer support is terrible."0.5 starson by OniOokamiAlfador
Pros: This drive was fantastic while it lasted. For A USB drive transfers felt pretty fast, it seemed safe, and the drive interfaced well with XP
Cons: The drive has minimal 64 bit support, and I have had 2 hardware failures. The first time the drive would not format and I had to RMA it. The second time it was plagued with power failures and seagate stopped responding.
Summary: The bottom line is, this drive seems destined to fail, and eventually it will. When it does, don't expect any help from seagate support. You'll have to pay expensive shipping to send your drive back, only to get a rebuilt drive that suffers from more problems out of the box.
