"I will think twice about buying a Seagate again." on by JohnPav1
Pros: None - well it appeared to work good enough when i was moving my data onto the drive.
Cons: The drive has stopped working after a very short period of time, all of my data will be lost and I have to pay to have the defective product shipped back to Seagate.
Summary: It worked long enough for me to copy information on to the drive (about 4 hours) but it doesn't work now. Now I need to send the drive back to Seagate for replacement, which I have to pay for, and all of my data will be lost.
Pros - I could pay $130 to buy a "Data Recovery" program from them.
Cons - Why should I have to pay for anything as it relates to their defective drive!
