"Awesome home or business NAS drive"
Pros: extremely powerful web management interface. DOES have network recyclebin, despite what other reviewer said. Fast data Xfer, and utilities like FTP, website hosting, ipod / music server, IP camera storage, etc
Cons: None really, this drive has served me incredibly well. I had an ADS tech NAS drive before which never worked.
Summary: The other reviewer said this NAS drive didnt have a network recyclebin. That was incorrect. Synology released new firmware which all new units ship with and it saves everything deleted into a #recycle folder. This NAS solution is truely one the best I have come across. The management UI is extremely slick and simple to use. Powerusers will also enjoy some of the features like webhosting with php+mysql, Auto-refreshing of dynamic DNS providers, backup utilities for workstations, and bit-torrent downloading. Really a nice box, check out synology's website www.synology.com for a great look at their product line.

Sorry I had to post this comment here, but I couldn't find a way to send feedback to CNET. My comment is in regards to the DS207+ specifications. As you may or may not know, there are differences between the DS207 and the DS207+. The Synology website (and other review sites as well) state that the DS207+ comes with a 500MHz processor and 128MB of RAM, whereas the specs section in CNET says the processor installed is 266MHz, and memory is 64MB. Maybe these latter specs are for the DS207 (without the plus), I don't know.
Hopefully CNET will correct this error soon.
