they should not manufacture pcb with micro usb connection, it limits the option of replacing sata to usb converters flexiblity if device fail to connect using usb
its a crap not reliable, i will not suggest this type of solution to any body
I have always hated WD products! Unreliable, short life, and poor support. But the specs (half star for potential only) on this drive were impressive enough for me to bite.

Recommendation... I hope you avoid the headaches, heartaches, and costs associated with using WD junk... How do you do that... easy, buy your hard drive from any other brand!
Portable; no power needed
I've bought two of these and they seem fine at first - very convenient - but they have BOTH failed in the past month. I tried to re-format and the re-format failed, on both. I'll never buy Western Digital again.
