"Affordable no-nonsense Storage"

Pros: Compact, reliable and silent the Western Digital 400gig Essential Edition is portable storage at its best for a price anyone can afford.

Cons: The drive does automatically power off when not in use. This can cause an access delay when the drive spins up. Lacks firewire and network interface ports; you get what you pay for.
