Pros: Worked out of the box. Easy to reconfigure RAID.
Cons: Poor documentation. No way to disable or configure power save timeout.
Summary: I recently purchased this drive for use with my PowerMac G4 Quicksilver 2002. It worked right out of the box and after setting it up for RAID-1 I was able to transfer a few test files. However after copying 27GB of data to it, it stopped showing up as a device. I tried both Firewire and USB.
It also was not recognizable on a PowerBook G4 FW800. The problem might be heat related as I was able to get it working for a short time after it was powered off for an extended period. However it soon disappeared again.
For only having it a few days I have no confidence in the quality of this device. This might be a case of you get what you pay for. In a word - Junk
