  • "WD does not service their product when it fails."

Pros: External drives are a good way to save important data.

Cons: If the company that sells a product doesn't service it or offer support when it fails, it's a bad purchase.

Summary: All of my important data is stored on a WD My Passport and I can't access it without paying hundreds of dollars to a 3rd party to TRY to recover it. If I had known then what I know now, I would not have purchased this external hard drive. Awful!
