Logitech Revue (Google TV)

Availability: Major software update coming "late summer"

The outlook: We had mixed feelings about the Logitech Revue when it was first released, but it was unambiguously a flop. Logitech recently slashed the price to $100 and the upcoming Google TV update could turn the Revue into a pretty great value. Still, given how half-baked Google TV was the first time around, we're not getting our hopes up.

The bottom line: The Logitech Revue with Google TV is loaded with potentially game-changing functionality, but its high price, numerous caveats, and current assortment of bugs make it best-suited to early adopters--at least until promised firmware fixes become available.
