"Has worked great for a year now!"
Pros: Trouble free, picture is good, don't see any troubling artifacts.
Cons: Contrast in very dark scenes could be better. Wish it had a standard built-in tuner.
Summary: I bought this plasma monitor in early 2004 when it went on sale for $2000, and haven't had any occasion to regret the purchase. Yes, I could have gotten a better quality set for another $1000 or $2000, but it was over 8 months before I saw a better set for the same price. Before I bought it, I looked at enough sets to conclude that at a 10 foot viewing distance on a 42" unit, I couldn't really see the difference between HDTV and EDTV.
