"Akai LCT2701TD was the worst purchase I ever brought."
Pros: I liked that it was a reasonable price for what I thought was a well known brand of TV that would make great quality merchandise.
Cons: I don't like that the TV only worked for one month. I can turn the TV on, but it does not allow me to move past VGA using the source control.
Summary: I have a new TV that has been out the box for one month and I can not watch it because it does not work. I discovered that I am not alone in this process there appears to be a lot of people who have brought bad Akai TV's as well. The bottom line is how is Akai not being held responsible or have call backs on the TV's that are not working. This was suppose to be a brand new TV not a remanufactured TV. I was trying to prepare for the switch to DTV, but now I am back to square one looking for a new TV. It will not be a TV made by Akai.
