  • "Can't beat the price; great second set for the bedroom"
    on by Bueget_Hunter

Pros I paid $349 at Fry's and that's the same price of a 32" LCD on sale on the same day. but since the Coby 4028 is 40" with full 1080 HD, I jumped on it. Think it's hard for other brands to top that. It has enough ports in the back to input other device.

Cons The audio is not that great but at least it has surround sound. But since I'm using it in my bedroom, I can live with that. I can always use the monster system in my living room when I watch something like the movie "Midway." Another thing is there is

Summary If you want to impress your friends, buy an expensive brand (but your friends don't visit your bedroom very often, right?). But in these day, about 95% consumer electronics are made in you know where anyways -- God created the earth and everything is made in the "C" country. All and all, Coby is something that fit my budget...or maybe yours, too. I like it. :-)

BTW, if you're looking for the Directv remote (RC64) code for this model (Coby TFTV 4028) it is 10030.

I spent half a day doing my research and tried about 25 different codes to get this result. So enjoy!

  • "This was once a nice TV."
    on by upsetanddissapointed

    Pros Picture quality, sound.

Cons Hard to talk to live person for support.

Summary This is the worse product I ever purchased in my life. I had my TV for 7 months. I cut it off this morning, and when I returned home I tried to cut it on and nothing happened. The blue light stays on, but no sound or picture. When I finally got in contact with customer service, I was told that they will contact me within 2 weeks with a decision to repair or replace. Then after the 2 weeks, it take another week or two to get the part, then another week for them to come and service the part. So in about a month (which sucks) my TV will be fixed.
