"Great value, very good tv, very good sound" on by MMRudy
Pros: Nice size for small rooms
Cons: Lots of wires decorate the wall, not easy to hang, needs more complete manual.
Summary: We've had this tv for over 6 months, with zero problems. It is in the "master" bedroom (11' by 16'). We tried it in the living room (15' x 24'), but the screen is too small to view easily, even though seating is within 10' of the set. We have Comcast (no box.)
We like the picture, the sound, the ease of selecting input, the clicker (glows in the dark.) Also like the different aspects available, but found we use "zoom" for least distortion, biggest picture. The 4 by 3 aspect is too small.
Did not find it easy to hang on the wall, it was a balancing act that took two.
It's nice to have two sets of inputs (on the left side and the second along the bottom edge) as once the tv is hung on the wall, it is impossible to reach the inputs on the bottom edge of the set. However, there are a heck of a lot of wires showing and we don't have the option of stowing them in a closet.
Chief complaint about functionality is the PIP. The accompanying instruction booklet does not have relevant information on its use. (I had PIP on a Sony ca. 15 yrs ago and recall it took some finagling involving splitting the signal to get it to work.)There is also a POP, but cannot figure out what it does or why it's there. So, a more inclusive and descriptive manual would be helpful. -
"This tv oozes quality!!" on
Pros: Ok guys I know that I'm not the only person here that has been looking for a good LCDTV and wanted some info on the Dell w2600. Well I got mine today. I have to say first off the quality of this LCDTV is bar none the best I've seen in a tv ever. The whole
Cons: One gripe and only one thus far is that the headphone jack is pathetic. The volume level is screwed up to the point that you have to practically max the volume to hear it at a resonable tone and then at that level it gets staticy sounding. I have contacte

"Worst Customer/Support Service" on
Pros: Nice looking product with reasonable feature-set.
Cons: I will never buy from "Dhell" ever again even if my life depended on it. They are the worst nightmare for support and misleading info from Sales team EVER.

"A nightmare TV and very poor Customer Service" on by Pablo714
Pros: When it works, it's OK
Cons: The power supply is defective
Summary: This is one of those products that you spend more money and time on than it's worth! To add insult to injury, the Dell CS is a frustrating go-round ending up with their only solution: BUY A NEW ONE!
No more Dell products for me - DO NOT BUY THIS TV... -
"Great value, good bedroom TV" on
Pros: Hard to beat $1650 delivered for a 26" panel with 3 year warranty. I also don't know what hgh or the other acronyms are, but suspect once they are slipped in a drink, both the tv and the reviewer more irresistable...
Cons: Needed to replace remote (did it by email request without problem) and video presets are way off, but now am happy with picture as manually adjusted.
