A full-featured TV that's a great value

Pros: Excellent picture, analog and digital tuners, tons of ports, beautiful styling

Cons: Takes a few seconds to turn on

Review: I've been using the W3201C for about two months to view 1080i and 720p signals from an antenna through the built-in ATSC tuner. The picture quality is nothing short of amazing, especially at this price. The build quality is exceptional, the set swivels like a fine piece of machinery. The detachable speakers are a great feature. I've removed them entirely so the set fits in a media center made for an old 36" television. The remote has a nice feel, with blue backlighting. There are more ports than I know what to do with, including HDMI and VGA inputs.

Good TV, lots of connections, mediocre manual, overseas support.

Pros: Lots of connections, dual tuners, good contrast ratio. Speakers are good

Cons: Manual is sparse on details and definitions. Customer support "on-line chat" is worthless, phone support suffers due to fact that American English does not appear to be agents' first language.

Review: If you have done your shopping and your comparisons, you know the specs are great on this LCD-TV. You also know this TV is good to go for HD out of the box, and that it has some good options like dual tuners built-in.

You may not know that the manual is less of a "manual" and more of a quick set-up guide. Whole sections of menus go unillustrated, and options are not explained in detail. But if you are an experienced LCD owner, most of the options make sense. Users with less experience will want to enlist the help of someone who IS experienced to be sure they get everything set-up correctly.

The help desk agents are overseas, which leads to frustrating conversations when you call for support, since they don't understand American slang or even the names of some things like "distribution amplifier". And if you do manage to get them to swap out your set, be ready to get a refurbished model in return. Maybe with a new set of problems already present.

I recommend buying the extended warranty, at least for a couple of years. But I have a feeling as these things get older, the exchange TVs will also get more shabby...

Overall, I do recommend the TV -- if you are or know some experienced, and especially if there's a Dell store in your area...

Best 32 Inch TV on the market

Pros: Price, awesome picture, great inputs

Cons: none at all

Review: Save some money if you're in the market for a 32 inch LCD TV and get a Dell. It will be hundreds cheaper than other TVs with the same characteristics. Easy delivery and love this TV better than more $2200 Sony.

Great Deal!

Pros: price, features, inputs, style

Cons: Can't think of any

Review: I've had the W3201c for about a week now and it's great. I chose it over other 32" sets because of price, feature set and input options. This is my first HDTV. It's also my first Dell product. Shipping was very fast and inexpensive.

I looked at a lot of different sets before buying this one. While it may not be the "best" picture out there, it comes pretty darn close. The Masters looked amazing today! Even regular TV picture (TWC digital cable) is more than acceptable.

I'm glad I did not spend the extra $500 for equivalent Sony. For the price of the Sony, Dell supplies a three year waranty, swivel wall mount, upgraded component cables and surge protector/power strip. If you're looking for a 32" HDTV, give this one serious consideration.
Updated
I've had this TV for 2 months now and it has performed beautifuly. It has met every expectation. I've been waiting before hanging it on the wall to make sure everything was working properly. It's going on the wall this weekend.

forget those overpriced tvs, get this Dell!!

Pros: cool design, great price, amazing picture

Cons: none that i can think of

Review: This TV will have you in awe once you take it out of the box. The speakers are seperate from the TV which is what is making this LCD TV a big seller. You can't beat the price with the picture quality you get (Dell could charge $2,000 for this TV). Enjoy it, I am.

By the way I just ordered another.
