Pros: BEAUTIFUL picture. Got many of compliments. Price is lower than most all other sized LCD TVs in it's class. Customer service is fair and assisting.

Cons: Life span is about 1 year, which is probably less than half the life of any other name brand LCD TV. Customer service is TERRIBLE to get a hold of. You will be out of warranty before the TV dies.

Summary: We purchased this TV from our local Menards lumber store. We couldn't beat the price at about $670. I worried about the brand since I'd never heard of them, but for the price it was worth the risk at the time. Picture was excellent, especially for a 55" LCD TV. We owned the TV for about a year when it started having problems. Random horizontal white lines would start developing and run up and down the TV screen. Power off/on would not fix the problem. Reset would not fix it. Different outlet would not fix it. Never had a problem until the 13th month. Contacted Auria which said those TVs were wholesaled through Mistral Colfax and so not theirs. They're still trying to help us, but it is frustrating to spend weeks just trying to reach support, then find out they're a wholesaled item. Spend weeks trying to reach these Mistral Colfax people with no help. Now working with EQD/Auria again. I won't buy another non-name brand. I'll pay the extra $400-$500 for a Panasonic or Sony or LG. Can't guarantee the customer service/support will be any better...maybe worse, but I KNOW it will last longer... at least longer than a year...
