"Gateway is known for COMPUTERS..."
Cons: horrible bronze color -- misrepresented on their website; took me four months to get a new remote from their customer service after i simply changed the battery on mine and it stopped working; speakers DO NOT come with brackets to mount onto television...

"Great TV for a small to med room"
Pros: Very vibrant picture in HD. light weight, decent sound from speakers.
Cons: DVI input leaves a lot to be desired. (use the component inputs.) Black level is not the best.

"Don't buy HDTV from Gateway, they are absolete"
Pros: none due to their limited usability

Pros: Lots of Inputs. Perfect for a smaller room. Did not get the speakers, saved 200 dollars. Wide angle view.
Cons: First TV came with dead pixels , but the Gateway store is down the street and traded it for one they had just got into the store. DVI input does not have the copy protection, so don't bother with using it with anything but a video card.

"Excellent Mid size HD Television"
Pros: The picture, especialy for sports in HD is amazing, its better even than most of the plasma screens I looked at in the 42" size range. DVDs and look good as well, and it is easy to switch to monitor mode to use my Powerbook with it.
Cons: The external speakers are sort of big.
