Pros Great inexpensive TV
Cons Service next to impossible to contact, parts not available on-line, promise to call back and do not, blame damage on user when it was damaged in shipping.
Summary Took exactly 31 days to resolve issue with broken (in shipping) stand. Resolution was "it's user abuse and caused." Stay away from Haier!
Pros nothing terrible product
Cons picture was poor by plasma standards Power source blew out 3 days after warranty was up. Lasted 1yr and 3days then was shot Wasted 1400 dollars

Cons its already time for w shop visit, and other TV's in the house are way older and never had to be repaired.
Summary back when it was bought I was wary of the price, cheep electronic usally dont last and I was right.
Pros Thought the price was a pro, but you don't even get what you pay for with Haier.

Summary Had a problem with a board going out on TV within the warranty period. Called Haier support and they sent a tech out. Problem was intermittent, did not happen when tech was their so I took pictures and video of the problem. Tech said board was going bad and needed to be replaced. I called him back 2 days later and he said Haier will not replace the board and he couldn't help me.
I called Haier back and they sent out a new tech, he stayed all of 15 min, problem did not happen while he was there, he asked me to "call him back when it was happening" we work days and watch TV at night when they aren't open. Two weeks later I called Haier back, they sent the same second tech out, he hooked up a signal generator to the TV told me it was working fine. I asked him to take the TV with him back to the shop and leave it on so he could see the issue. He said he couldn't, I showed him the pictures and video and he said there was nothing wrong with the TV and that I was lying. Yes he actually called me a liar.
So apparently Haier thinks I will take 3 days off work, photoshop pictures, and doctor video to try to get them to replace something that is working correctly. Its one thing to buy a crappy product and be out a few hundred bucks, but I've never even heard of another company so bad at customer service that they call you a liar, while refusing to fix their own problematic products.
I called the Haier back, filed a complaint with the BBB and have heard nothing since. Bought a new TV to replace this craptastic piece of offal at a black Friday sale this year. Wouldn't suggest purchasing anything from Haier unless you are a masochist.
Pros got it at Sears with in 4 months no sound 5months later no picture 7mths I got a used one sears out now this time it took 10 months to get a used one 6/08 in8/08 no sound they send me a used one with a 30 day is there a law that can help me PLEASE
Cons custmor service ,They dont want to help you .I have nothing good to say about this TV ,Yes one good thing to say they have droped the price by more than 3/4 wonder why
