"The best picture of all we checked!" on by 105486
Pros: Incredibly sharp and realistic images.
Cons: No picture in picture
Summary: As far as I am concerned the most important feature of a television is the picture quality and this is exactly what sold us, (my wife and I) on this TV. We compared numerous TV's side by side and we constantly kept turning to this HP picture because it was noticeably sharper, clearer and perhaps bolder.
While researching the differences in TV technology I kept finding references to the inability of LCD TVs to display deep black. I have to admit I didn't think it would be a big deal until I started comparing TV's side by side. Whithout deep black everything seems to lack depth. This HP excels in the black and dare I say depth. I find the colors to be exactly right after turning down the red scale just a slight amount. While viewing HDTV channels you could swear you are simply looking through a clear window and that the action is a few feet from you. Before you purchase an LCD TV make sure you include this TV as one to look at, I bet you will agree with us that the picture can't be beat unless your willing to pay nearly twice the amount.
We bought this TV to replace a 60" Proscan big screen. We don't feel that we lost a thing, because the picture is just that incredible. Yes, there are TV's that have more bells and whistles but we learned the hard way (with our high dollar big screen) that most of the bells and whistles found on more expensive TV's don't ever get used in day to day viewing. I, for one, never used picture in picture for example so why pay for it? -
"Awesome HDTV! I'm very pleased with my purchase" on by Fourstar57
Pros: Picture, design of set (all black), Remote control, Ease of use and lots more
Cons: Remote is not backlit. Trivial I know but that's all I can think of!
Summary: I recently purchased this set at Bestbuy after returning a 32 inch Insignia. The Insignia just seemed cheaply built and the remote was terrible. I returned it and traded up to the HP LC3760N (for 300.00 more) and I'm VERY pleased. This set is great in my humble opinion. The size of 37 inches is perfect for me and the case being all black looks very sharp. This set has very nice resolution and the colors are great and the display is very bright. It has ample hookups in the back including HDMI which is nice. Another nice little thing is the location of the buttons. They are located on the top right corner of the set rather then down on the side. They include volume, channel, input and on/off buttons and they are a little over-sized which is nice. They are a cinch to access. The remote is very sweet. It is ergonomically shaped to fit your hand and feels very natural, not clunky. This set is well designed and thought out. Since buying it I have gone back into Bestbuy to check out sets and have seen a few different brands with larger screens on sale for less than I paid for the HP. But I will not trade again. I'm too pleased with the set I have now to trade it in. I'm keeping it! Plus games in 1080i look AWESOME!

"Wise HP Purchase!" on by Texstechfan
Pros: Nice cabinet , easy set up, excellent picture quality, multitude of connections, easy to use menu's
Cons: None as of yet
Summary: Compared models online and at store for hours. Purchased at Best Buy (looked for about three hours). This unit had one of the best pictures on the Best Buy digital store feed. I was leaning between the Samsung and the Sharp but for the money and quality I bought this model. Those other units were way overpriced and the picture quality was almost identical. It may not have pip but my satellite DVR receiver does so no problem. Had it out of the box receiving local DT&HD within minutes. The HD picture is awesome. Well worth the money.

"Awesome! Even the kids noticed the difference" on by jrjacobs
Pros: picture, motion, size, HD over the air, sound, remote, super fast free shipping from HP Store
Cons: none I can see, though finding the remote code for the Dish Network remote has been a challenge
Summary: Just bought this TV from the HP store website - was on sale for under $1000 and free shipping! Best money I've spent in a long time. Had bought another brand - family had complained about motion blur, so wanted to see something else. Let's say the "other" TV was returned after 4 days. The HP is a real beauty. From the quality of the build to the remote size and shape - it's all a wonderful package of pure quality. The picture stands out as awesome. The spec of 6ms for motion is evident, the HD off air signal presents a wonderful picture that makes "24" a delight to not only watch but also experience in HD! My wife had been concerned about spending so much money for a new TV but that is all a moot point now. The only challenge has been to find the remote codes to program my Dish Network remote (HP isn't listed in the Dish owners manual - I understand that Phillips works but haven't tried those codes yet).
This is my first flat panel purchase and I'm certainly not disappointed by HP. -
"The best picture in the showroom. Best Bang for the Buck." on by jookyone
Pros: Cheap price, 2 HDMI inputs, best remote control design in years.
Cons: No DVI output, but HDMI to DVI adapter should work.
Summary: I checked out all of the 37" TVs in both Circuit City and Best Buy, and this one not only had the best picture (of the 720p sets) in my opinion, it was the least expensive. My only complaint is that DirecTV is not hooking up my HDTV dish until April, and I've had to get my HD kicks from an amplified off-air antenna.
It has all of the features I need, and plenty of inputs for my DVD player, Wii, and Laptop. Best Buy gave us $150 off for buying the DirecTV HD tuner with a 37"+ so the tuner paid for itself, and got us the TV for $50 cheaper still. Can't go wrong with this TV, and since HD Channels are still as scarce as a standar Wii package, it more than meets my needs.
