"LOOKS great, couple catches"
Pros: Wireless Internet, Media Division, Beautiful Look
Cons: Online Media Section isn't even up yet >.< , overheats
Summary: At first glance, the TV is to die for. I've noticed the price has been droping down quick, as in $500, since it came out 3 months ago. Now I know why. The back of the TV gets HOT. The directions say it needs to be 4 inches from the wall. The TV has a built in temperature control and will auto shut off when it gets to hot. Now I only notice this during the day, its summer time, I live in Florida, and I have 3 laptops and 1 desktop pc in my living room. BUT, I keep it at a nice 76 degrees. Sometimes I will have it up to 78-79.
I was also made to find out the Online Media section isn't even funcational yet. This really ticked me off. It is "coming soon" with no eta. This was a major desire I had, and it wasn't there.
The TV noticed the internet easily, very easily. I loved it. I was able to sync the TV with my laptops very easily as well too. I'm not sure how many can sync with the TV at once, but its more than what I have now.
It has NO cable card slot, this was a major disapointment too.
Overall, this IS the TV of the future. I have no doubt in my mind. They need to work on reducing the temperature of the TV as it gets very hot to the touch on the back, even with my fan blowing on it. It has online access, but its through a HP approved portal. Meaning, HP approves the links you authorize on their site, that tells the TV where to go. So there is no traditional browser. This truely sucks. But I have the nintendo wii, so that fixed that issue, somewhat.
So, recap, reduce the heat production a LOT. Put in a full web broswer and not some restricted one approved with HP sites, and you have the perfect TV.
I would recomend the TV still though.

I would like to know if it support the XP version of Windows Media Center (2005), as mention is only made of the vista Media Center... dumb question I know, but I have been caught out by these 'assumptions' before.
