"Great Deal/Great TV" on by MikeReynolds4444

Pros: 4 HDMI,Side Panel input/output,Great black levels, nice menu system, great value, great for video games

    Cons: remote control design

Summary: I just purchased this tv recently and after having a little while to use it (mainly for video gaming) I can honestly say that this was a GREAT purchase. The colors are great, the blacks are great, the brightness is great...it's just an overall great product. I know some people mentioned the menu being poor in their reviews. When i first turned it on i was worried that this would be the case as i had done some research on this set, to my surprise it was not the case. The menu that others have reviewed must not be used on these TV's anymore as mine is nothing like they described (yellow font on grey background). The new menu system is flashy and very easy to read, a huge step up apparently from the previous design.

My only problem with this tv is the remote control. I'm a big fan of an input button where i could scroll through the inputs. When a TV has so many input possibilities it's a little hard to find what button to press as there are 4 different buttons at the top of the remote for input and none of them are HDMI, it gets it's own button. Basically 4 different buttons on top and 1 button in the middle of the remote for all 4 HDMI inputs. Kind of a hassle but I know nothing big (hell i was just looking for a con and there is something that most people would not mention).

All in all however it is a great product!

"SUPERB TV FOR THE PRICE,VERY CLEAR AND DEFINED PICTURE." on by chopg4

Pros: EASY SET UP AND REMOTE,CONVENIENT REMOTE HOLDER. REMOTE CONTROLS THREE OTHER DEVICES PLUS TV.FOUR HDMI PORTS. TIMER WORKS GREAT!

Cons: DON'T KNOW HOW TO USE OVERSCAN FEATURE. 10 WATT SPEAKERS ARE OKAY. I WISH I COULD USE THE AUDIO ONLY FEATURE WITH HDMI IT ONLY WORKS WHEN CONNECTED TO CABLE NOT COMPONENT OR HDMI CABLES

Summary: I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS TV TO FRIENDS

"Overall great 1080p bang for the buck!" on by ncgeek1234

Pros: Picture quality is really good!
Sound is great. It has a nice adjustable EQ for it.

Cons: Display menu/guide font size and color. Yellow on Gray?! and very small font so if you have the tv 12 feet away forget about it unless you have more than 20/20 vision.

Summary: So far so good...I am very pleased with this tv. I own a 92"diag hd projector theater room and I got this tv for casual viewing for a sitting room. Picture quality is really good! I went with the 1080p option b/c it seems that manufactures are going to stop making 720p sets and just (from an economic view) make 1080p's. But the 720p tv looked just as good. Sound is great. It has a nice adjustable EQ for it.

The only thing that I can say that I don't like about the tv so far is the display menu/guide font size and color. Yellow on Gray?! and very small font so if you have the tv 12 feet away forget about it unless you have more than 20/20 vision. If anyone knows how to change this feature and/or with an firmware upgrade do write. With that said for a 1080p tv that costs $500 bucks the picture is where the tire meets the road and this set delivers.

Now how long it will last will be the question. Time will tell.
