"Don't Buy from Best Buy"
Pros: Picture looked great for 5 months.
Cons: I bought from Best Buy
Summary: I purchased a 50" Plasma Insignia TV from Best Buy and it broke after 5 months. The top half of tv worked while the other half black screen. Called the Best Buy hot line to have someone come out and fix it. 2 weeks later repair man comes out and says it needs a new drive board. I receive a call 1 week later saying drive board is in and schedule my appt. I get a call the day of my appt (missed work for this) and was told that parts weren't actually in and will have to reorder new part. Finally 2 weeks later another BB repair guy comes out and installs new drive board and TV still not fixed because the new board was defective!!! Wow!!! So I now have been without my TV for 5 weeks and missed 2 days of work. Yes, I didn't buy the most expensive TV but one would think $1200 wouldn't buy me a lemon. If you do buy a TV from Best Buy make sure you are prepared for the slowest and worst service possible!!

i just wanted to defend best buy a little bit while i feel your pain in having to wait so long the repair man is not an employee of best buy they hire out third party repair men to fix most everything in home
