"JVC 37" Full HD is an incredible television"
Pros: Easy setup- excellent picture from HD sources
Cons: Excessive delay from power-up to picture display on HDMI input
Summary: I just purchased this unit from Circuit City and connected it to the DirectTV HD tuner. The dealer was helpful in selecting and purchasing this television. The installation and operation of this unit is quite intuitive. The menu system is easy to navagate. The 1080p display far exceeds most 37" models. The 5ms response time and excellent contrast results in a superior picture. Contrast ratio measurement has not been standardized in the flat screen television segment. My opinion of this screen is that it equaled other products with claims of 1:8000. JVC is one of the higest rated televisions in dependability. I would definately recommend this television or it's big brother with the 42" display.
