CNET Editors' Take

CNET did not review the LG 22LG30, but we did review a larger model in the series.

Review: Although CNET did not review the 22-inch LG 22LG30, we did review the 32-inch LG 32LG30. Judging from their spec sheets, the two LG LCD HDTVs are very similar but for screen size. The 22-inch model has a higher resolution but we don't expect that to have much impact on picture quality (aside from sharper display of PC sources), although the other major difference, a lower contrast ratio spec, might indicate inferior black level performance on the 22-inch model compared with the 32. Feature-wise, the 22LG30 is missing the swivel stand and an HDMI input on the side panel, ... Expand full review

We expect the review of the 32-incher to give a good indication of how the 22-inch model will perform. For more information, refer to the full review of the LG 32LG30. Hide Review

"Broke and would have cost more to repair than I paid" By

Pros: Picture quality was good and user friendly. Speakers had a nice range.

Cons: Barely lasted 2 years and we took really good care of it.

Summary: I don't care how nice it is when it breaks for no reason and can't be repaired. Absurd.
