"Great Bargain TV"
Pros: Outstanding picture for the price
Cons: Takes a long time to go from standard def to HD when connected HDMI
Summary: I bought this TV as a replacement for my SDTV in my bedroom which was only a 20". Comes with a nice stand and is very light and slim. Connected very easily to my Motorola DCT6416 via HDMI. Automatically adjusts the screen to standard and HD ratios when changing channels. Only issue I have is when you change from standard to HD it takes it a few seconds by going to a black screen then it comes back on with the channel. Kinda weird for an HD set. I do wish it was at least 1080i but it is only 720p which appears to be the standard for this size of a screen.
I do agree with other reviews that the black is not very dark, but kind of expected again for the price of the set. That is actually the first thing that my wife noticed.
Overall I am very happy with this purchase. I did get it from HHGregg and bought the extended 5 Year warranty. I only bought the warranty because if other HD sets I have bought the screen or light would go out. For the cost of the warranty and the cost of the repair it was worth it. But this isn't for everyone.
