Pros Bright Display, Sleek Design, Great GUI and it's super light-weight.

Cons I've yet to be able to find anything wrong with any LG product and I've been using their products for years now.

Summary I bought the LG 26LG30 to serve as both a TV and Computer Monitor and it has been one of the best choices I've made by far!

No sooner than I walked in the store and started browsing around, I asked if the store carried any of the LG line of LCD's. The store employee asked me what size I was looking for and I told him between 26" and 32". He brought me over to the LG 26LG30 and from there, I was sold.

The LG 26LG30 is now being used as a TV and Monitor and my older CRT monitors are stored away.

    Pros Great for the bedroom

Cons I have to use an attached tuner to make the TV experience more enjoyable when pulling signal over air

Summary I noticed a problem with this unit. when I am using the over air feature to receive my TV signal, the audio is out of sync with the picture on several channels. I have to attach another tuner to make this problem go away.

Pros ahh... It looked impressive when it wasn't turned on, When it was working it was easy to use, the sound worked fine.

Cons This tv broke 3 times in a year in a half. I would go to turn it on and it just wouldn't turn on. Everytime LG fixed it, it would break again. The picture was also fuzzy, and I had a time trying to adjust it.

Summary You would think they could sell me a tv that would work for more than a year and a half. It broke after about 6 months and after I had LG fix it, it stopped working after 2 weeks. They didn't seem to care that fixing the tv was taking up our valuable time. When it broke a second time I felt I deserved a new TV or at least an extended warranty, but sure enough they refused to even sell me a new warranty. They just fixed the tv again and of course it has broken yet again. The one plus is that I am done dealing with this tv. Not only was the product horrible, but they made no real effort to provide me with something that would actually work.

  • "GOOD BUT NOT GREAT"
    on by FloridaGene

Pros Compared to the previous review, I agree it is a good buy for the $375 I spent to replace my old 20 inch Sharp. The auto volume for controlling commercials and SRS TruSurround XT adjustments work well, most of the time.

Cons Some commercials may have found a way around LG's volume control technology. The worst aspect is going beyond 45 degrees which washes out sharpness and color. SRS TruSurround XT is intermittent. Installation parts were missing but replaced quickly.

Summary A good TV for the bedroom or as a monitor where you are generally looking directly at it. Not good in a larger room where people will be looking at it from an angle.
