"Good value for the money" on by dwmurray
Pros: Has all the inputs to satisfy most needs
Decent Audio
Crisp displayCons: Only Audio out is Optical, now i need to buy some audio device (home theatre / stereo) to get audio other than built-in to the TV.
Summary: If you want a multi-purpose HD screen, this is not a bad deal at all. I use it mostly for a Media Centre (great size for PC work - LOL) screen and am happy with my purchase, paid 549 CDN$

"More Bang For The Buck!" on by phillip2010
Pros: Priced right and that's half the battle!
Has plenty of adjustments and calibrations for even the pickiest videophile
Satellite HD channels and my desktop PC look awesome in 1080p
Nice piano black finish with swivel standCons: Reds look too bright and required some tweaking for my tastes
Standard def programs look pretty average on my HDDVR receiver
Side angle viewing is barely tolerableSummary: I bought this TV online, from 6th Ave Electronics using the "BONUSBUY" coupon code. I got it for just $421.12 + no tax + no shipping! I simply couldn't find a better deal, on a 32" 1080p LCD with all the features this LG had. I was looking for a bedroom TV and a bigger 1080p monitor. Well, this TV met all my requirements and then some. It took about a week to ship from UPS and it arrived in pristine condition, without any kind of blemish on it whatsoever.
Right now, I have it hooked up to my DirectTV HDDVR, Gateway desktop PC and Memorex DVD/VHS player and everything looks awesome on it. After programming my universal remote, I can switch and control any of them in a push of a button without even getting out of bed. If I can't read my computer at that distance, I just zoom the text using my wireless keyboard and mouse to 150 or 200% and Voila!
I still plan on buying a blu-ray player next for streaming etc, but right now I'm just enjoying my current setup. I used most of the CNET calibrations, but I like my TV viewing on the sharp side to show more detail on faces, landscapes and fine print on commercials for example. So, I keep the edge enhancer set on high and the sharpness levels pretty high at 80H and 80V. If you're looking for a bedroom TV or monitor, you simply can't go wrong with this 32" from LG. Especially, if you're looking for more bang for the buck deal and who isn't?
I highly recommend it! -
"Almost good colors, decent inputs." on by HellishINC
Pros: Relatively cheap, 1080p, Good amount of inputs
Cons: Red reproduction, semi glossy screen, glossy bezel/stand
Summary: This tv is a decent tv for its price (430 at time of wiritng). It has good color reproduction with minimal banding. Unfortunately reds have very bad bleeding, Its extremely noticeable on pure red text and the like. The bezel is very distracting with any amount of lighting. It reflects everything. This wouldnt be so bad if it was smooth but the bezel is somewhat warped and can be distracting in low lighting situations.
While this TV does have alot of options, its finicky at best when it comes to changing them. At times it will completely lock me out with all options greyed out and others ill be able to change almost everything.
Its not a bad display if you intend on using it as a TV but as a monitor, look else where. -

Pros: Design, Picture quality, connections
Cons: None as of yet
Summary: Got this tv from Best Buy on sale 'Black Friday'. I am using It as a computer monitor and for my tv cable
connection. High definition content looks fantastic, especially 1080p. I really like the looks of this tv as well. Glad
I spent a few more bucks and got this LG instead of the no name.
