"Awesome tv" on by jennadamage
Pros: I love my LG 1080 HDTV picture quality is amazing sound amazing. Simple to use and enjoy. Sharp sharp picture. Makes everything look great.
Cons: no S cable , maybe...
Summary: Love my TV!! I had been wanting a new , around 37 inch 1080p HD TV so I went and checked some out a electronics store it was between this and a smaller Samsung. This was the last one they had of this model, so they (surprisingly) offered it to me for over 170$ off retail. I have had it for over a month. it's fabulous.Like I said amazing picture quality. And that's important to my family, we are movie buffs. and I got a great deal, too. I love LG and will definitely be buying more of their products.

"I just bough this TV, and it is my first LCD." on by Roger Roomes
Pros: So far, I must say the picture is crisp. The games on my PS3 is very impressive as I am seeing it in HD. Blue ray movies are great as the first one to be shown on it was GI Joe, and I was pretty impressed.
Cons: Remote looks a bit like a toy, but is effective and does what a remote should do I guess.
Summary: I got it just in time for Super Bowl, so Sunday will be the big test. At the end of it all, I got a wonderful 37" LCD 1080p TV for a killer price. I am impressed with what I have read of the LG line, so brand loyalty is currently on my mind. Eventually I will look to get a 42 or bigger.

"For my first, a great experience" on by robert in gozo
Pros: Low cost: got mine for $550 delivered! thus a great bargain, picture is excellent, audio for built in speakers saves me from purchasing an audio system and the TV is a perfect size for my current needs.
Cons: I would have to make something up, since the TV is perfect for my needs.
Summary: This LG 37LH30 TV was my first venture with LG. Was a Sony guy for ever, and switched after a bad experience with a Sony and a Sony Blu Ray player. Am extremely pleased with the LG and recommend it. (I also bought an LG Blu Ray player). Audio from the TV is fine for my small living room. Though, this model is considered low end, it serves my needs very well, especially as a first ever HDTV. I got around the lack of an S Video port by purchasing a $1.99 S video to single RCA (video) adapter for my HP notebook: guess what?, I can simultaneously use my notebook in the office (via vga monitor) or watch TV in the living room. (OK, I have a 35 foot RCA cable in between and through the wall, but that is hidden very well, and purchased a through-the-wall wireless HP keyboard and mouse that works very well, indeed -- actually have two of them; one set stays in the living room and one set stays in the office.) Thus, I can work on the computer or watch Internet TV shows easily and seamlessly on the LG TV which come across wonderfully in great living color and HD too on either the TV or my monitor.
LG: 37LH30 is well worth the investment.
Overall, a recommended TV from this self proclaimed geek. -
