"Love the featrures, jury is still out on quality of tv"
Pros: save money on built in dvr, less cables
Cons: we're losing channels overnight and are having recording problems
Summary: First let me say, I loved the tv when we bought it last September, was thrilled to get a built in DVR and Picture in Picture which nobody seems to make anymore.
A couple months after purchasing we noticed we were losing channels overnight. What I mean is that we could do a channel scan, have all of the channels we were supposed to, but then over the next day or two as we flipped through the channels with the channel up and down keys entire ranges of channels would be gone. It doesn't seem to be a TV Guide problem as the channels are still listed in there when we check, but LG and the company we had come out don't seem to have an answer for it yet.
Lately it seems that it doesn't record everything we program so I fear another problem is developing... we're working with LG to get a 2nd company to come out to see if they can solve the problem.
I haven't quite had it a year yet but am sure glad I bought the extra warranty just incase!!
Besides those issues I like the tv, it's easy to use, the picture is good although definitely not the best on the market.
