Pros: I purchased this brand new off Newegg for $497 with free shipping. Although skeptical at the quality level, considering the purchase price, I was pleasantly surprised.

No dead or stuck pixels, no other issues of any kind with the TV or the stand.

Cons: It is devoid of the frills of higher priced units, and the picture isn't *perfect*. But, this TV is what it is - for $500, there's nothing better in this size, in my humble opinion.

Summary: I do not need internet connectivity, or 3-D compatibility, or any such fancy accouterments; I wanted a TV with no useless frills but a great picture. This fits the bill.
