"You will fall in love with this TV."
Pros: Great PQ
Great Sound
Great Connectivity
No image retention
SD PQ unbeatable (best I have seen)
PRICECons: NO FULL HD (altough here at CNET the reviewers keep saying that the difference is almost impossible to see at this size and at the proper watching distance).

"Great bang-for-buck plasma. Highly recommended."
Pros: + Fabulous picture when calibrated properly. (The "Cinema" setting is a fair default)
+ Sound is great when adjusted.
+ Has good cosmetic appeal.
+ Plenty of inputs.
+ Sturdy stand.
+ Decent remote.
+ Works excellent with my Xbox 360.Cons: - Lack of audio outputs. Only has 1 optical audio out.
- Larger model can play DivX from USB. This one just plays photos and music.
- Possible image retention. What do you expect? It's plasma. Not really a con of this TV, just of plasma in general.Summary: I purchased this TV after Christmas at Hhgreg... read more

"great picture, horrible sound"

Cons: Sound hurts ears. Only has digital optical output for sound and my BestBuy 42PQ30 doesn't have setting for PCM output, so my sound bar can't use the toslink cable. Sound from the PC connection was so bad I used laptop speakers.
Summary: Great TV for the price. My lcd died at 2 yea... read more

"What! A 42" Plasma Flatscreen TV for a mere $629.00."
Pros: Size (can move it by myself)
PQ - I don't miss 1080i - Never had it)
Nice clear sound at low volume levels
Features - Read the specs, this set is loaded
It's plasma - Better blacks than LCD
2,000,000:1 Contrast Ratio
Nice Menu tooCons: If there was a con, I'd have to say that it isn't 1080i HD. But, did I mention I paid $629.00.
Narrow field for the remote signal,...you have to point it directly at the "Blue" on light in order to channel channels, etc.Summary: This set replaced a working Sony Flatscreen t... read more
