Pros: This TV has only one Pro when it works its a nice screen.
Cons: 1. we had it a year and 2 months (of course when the factory warranty ended) and it broke. Repair man came out and fixed it.
2. another 9 months again it broke and again a repair man came out to fix it.
3. another 4 months again today a repair man is coSummary: When it broke the first time the TV would turn on by itself and then it would flash through the menu by itself no one touching it or the remote. The repair man came out and repaired it under the extended warranty.
The second time it broke again it turned on by itself but this time the channels were changing all by theirselves. Again the warranty company sent out the repair guy to fix it and he told us the first guy, who by the way had it almost a month, did not do anything about it. This repair man came out and changed the mother board and the power button.
Ok so its been four months and again the TV is turning on by itself and changing channels!!!! Waiting for the repair man again. TIRED of this TV and LG no one wants to replace the TV even thou its the right thing to do!!! I will no longer buy LG products and would never reccommend them to anyone exspecially if they do not replace it!!! I did not pay all this money for a TV that we have only had 2 years that does not work. I want a new TV or my money back!! -

Pros: You get to spend a lot of time getting lied to by LG's customer service department. 1st TV was defective, took 6 months of phone calls before the local service rep told me I need to ask for Executive Services to get past customer service department.
Cons: Replacement TV's sound did not match the picture,LG blames on Time Warner, and now the sound is completely out. I called customer service to get my warranty extended and they are so incompentent that they can not even register my new TV's SN#.
Summary: Stay away from LG products unless you want faulty products with no support when things go wrong. Do not purchase anything from HH Gregg, they have no leverage over the manufactures and also did nothing to try and get my problems resolved.

Pros: Great picture, audio, and features.
Cons: There is really none except for the TrueMotion 120hz feature. Makes some films look like a soap opera.
Summary: I paid 900 dollars for this tv at Fry's and got the 2 year warranty and servicing deal with it so if it stops working they fix it at my home (don't have to haul it around). Anyways the picture is SUPERB, it's definitely full HD and you can tell with Blu Ray movies, I have never had a better home theater experience. The audio is awesome and if ppl are complaining the sound it's because they haven't explored the features. It comes with Clear Voice II and auto volume, the voices are REALLY clear on all the films I've watched and the bass is adjustable. It is almost really true surround sound. The netcast features are also really useful as I am now a fan of netflix's instant queue so I don't have to visit blockbuster and pay more.I love love love it, my boyfriend and I both.
I would recommend that you turn the TrueMotion 120Hz feature off if you are watching a film. It makes action movies (for example True Blood episodes in HD) feel like a soap opera or cut out cardboard film because it gives all the characters this weird aura around them.
Definitely got a great deal for a superb lcd tv. Plus the 47' inch screen is HUGE. Buy this tv, you'll love it as much as we do. -

Cons: Sound Quality - Lip Sync Problems - Lack of Customer Service, Parts Availability
Summary: Sound problems "out of the box". I contacted LG service the day after I received the set. It's been 5 months waiting for a resolution to the problem and I've received every excuse in the book. Software upgrade in process... needs sound board... needs processor board.. no parts in stock... It goes on and on.
When I call back, they don't seem to care and it's like starting all over again with the problem. Bottom line, LG does not have enough of their own repair people, so they farm it out to local shops. I would stay away from any LG product based on my experience with LG Service.
I sent a letter to LG headquarters with a summary of my problems. To date, I have not received a response. I believe that is unacceptable for any company not to respond to customer that has purchased a new product that has failed for 5 months! -

Pros: We just loved the picture but now it's garbage.
Cons: Had it for small amount of time and the pixel is out of wack. Glad I bought it at Best Buy and the Service Plan covered this.
