Pros Good picture with little reflection, easy to hook up and add HDMI devices, lots of picture controls but well-performing default settings, decent built-in sound.

Cons Black is too light in some settings. There are some artifacts at the 120Hz setting.

Summary With the recent price drops, this is a very good value given the feature set. The sound is good enough for the casual listener and has good preset options for "surround" sound effects as well as a "Clear Voice" preset. The menus are fairly intuitive with most settings near the top and not buried in sub-menus. Switching between the 4 HDMI, AV, and Component inputs is very easy in particular.

Pros Its bright, very bright, to the point where I had to lower its brighness on an all white screen. Colors are almost hypnotic
Oodles of screen options and do need to be set as the defaults are not my favorite.
There are tons of connections and USB!

Cons Missing S-Video but would only be an issue if it were for an office, most people use vga or HDMI anyway.
Might not be the darkest black but settings can be changed to help much.

Summary I have looked at Sony, Samsung, and many others for months and this one beat most of them for a quality I think is a 1000 or more!
Well worth the buy!

Pros Excellent picture, great sound for a flat screen HDTV,picture adjustment are better than any I've seen

Summary I Love This TV sure it will require some setup out of the box but after all of the tweaks are done your eyes will been in for a glorious treat and for the new lower prices you simply can not beat this LCD TV Im looking to get the newer model for my living room (this one in my bed room)when it comes to market it will be replacing my Sony Bravia V Series that TV will get basement duties.

Summary I bought a rear projection LG , T V .. RT -44SZ21RB,4 years ago... with lousey low Black contrast( But bad, bad, green ) The TV lived more in the workshop than my home and the fault was NEVER corrected at all ...I gave it to my daughter and on about the 2000 lamp hour all the colors dropped out except green ... and I had paid about $1000.00 to get it fixed On 2.500 hour, the brightness dropped to 50%.. A few months later completely died ..The LG service dept, said needs new lamp[ another $900.00 Plus ??!!, if no other problems found ??? We have now thrown it out to the dump.. There is a tv current affairs program that screened here in Melbourne recently ,about the same model LG set, with the same problems and the furious owners actually taking it to the dump and destroying it!!!! I will never ever touch another L G .... Ray (of over the seas)
