"Great for price"5.0 starson by cclucky04
Pros: Pixel Mapping 1:1 tons of tv's do it but LG actually puts it in their spec sheet
Great Price sub 600 from frys
Nice flush look wall mounted
Cons: Blacks aren't best out for the models that came out this year, however with the price I have no real complaints
Summary: I use this as an HDTV and a monitor, when looking for a new monitor it was ridiculous at the price points they're running.
LG has pixel mapping, and in their spec sheet actually say so. It looks absolutely just as good on my PC as it does playing a movie.
I wall mounted it and it looks great, the black levels from the review said they aren't the deepest, but it doesn't get much cheaper than this.
ISF Settings already set, which I thought was great, just a tiny bit of fine tuning and your good to go, no "need" for alot of users to calibrate.
I dont really have any cons for this "monitor" I dont think it gets any better without spending a ridiculous amount more.
As for an HDTV if your looking for the price range this is in, I would recommend it, if you can go up to one of the nicer panasonic models like a TC-P50ST50 I beleive it would be worth the price.
I have a TC-P60ST50 right now and it is just incredible, I will be getting the TC-P65VT60 or GT60 this year, however with the price point this TV is at I think it and the reviews here show its worth.
5 Stars, Great set of functionality and easy setup!
